TwitchCon 2024 was yet another great event for Stack Up, not only in terms of making some new friends among content creators and connecting with the streamers who have long supported our cause but in bringing together a couple of Air Assaults for an all-expenses-paid trip.
This year's TwitchCon 2024 trip was sponsored by none other than DreamWarrior, a fantastic content creator who has fundraised for Stack Up for several years, raising countless dollars over the years to support our programs. He puts on a phenomenal show and we really enjoy seeing him go at it.
This trip was also special because we were able to bring out Suzanna, a member, and moderator of DreamWarrior's community on the trip along with Kenya, an active servicemember who helped get one of Stack Up's very own across the line on his fundraising goal. It's great to give back to the mods and community members out there supporting our cause who are also Veterans and Active Military.

Suzanna was nominated by DreamWarrior's community for the Air Assault trip to TwitchCon 2024:
Suzanna served in the US Navy for 12 years as a intelligence linguist. During her service, she deployed overseas twice, enduring separation from her daughter and family for extended periods of time. She has been an awesome part of the DreamWarrior community for over a year now, earning her place as a moderator. Recently, she became unemployed due to health issues, and has been struggling to make ends meet while awaiting disability compensation. A trip to twitchcon with expenses paid would greatly help to boost her morale, and it would give her a chance to meet the streamers she's been following for many years!

Kenya learned about Stack Up through Holloman Air Force Base Stack Lead Renegade who told her to put in an Air Assault request:
I'm a TSgt in the AF for 14 years now. I just recently got back from deployment in July. I personally donated the final amounts needed for Jons to wear the pretty maid outfit for TwitchCon this year and would love to see it!
The best part about this trip was that we got to bring out two people who have long known about Stack Up. The other cool part is that Suzanna got to meet DreamWarrior for the first time ever, despite being part of his community for some time. While we build relationships online, there's something special about getting to meet the people whose community you've been part of.

This was an amazing trip to San Diego! Everyone I met was incredibly kind and great to be around. I got to meet DreamWarrior in person for the first time, after being part of his Twitch community for over a year now. I think the funniest moment was when myself, Clu, KittaraJ (the other Air Assault), and a friend of mine were Rick-rolled by a guy singing karaoke at the block party. At first we were laughing about it, and then we realized that the singer was actually really good! Commence the dance party! I want to thank everyone so very much for this opportunity, and I hope I am able to give back one day.
Kenya was originally slated to take a trip out to meet Stack Up Renegade but he told her about this trip and had her put in the Air Assault request.

I was super ecstatic. I'm gonna go to TwitchCon, I was not planning on TwitchCon and came out here. I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. I was super excited to see the floor and to go meet up with a bunch of people, look around at all the different art styley stuff, just all the things there, it's very entertainment-wise, I love people-watching too. I'd like to thank DreamWarrior for sponsoring this.
