Armored Warfare – Coming to PS4 in 2018

Armored Warfare has made a heck of an impression in the online MMO community, which is no small feat as the same space is shared with another tank focused MMO, World of Tanks. Armored Warfare, a large free-to-play tank combat game, has enjoyed a solid amount of success, as it focuses more on modern military conflicts and battles with an easy-to-learn, yet hard to master game mechanic.

Thousands of players have drawn their cannons and slugged it out on a variety of maps and battle, which introduced a variety of PvP, PvE, and hybrid game modes for players. Celebrating its success, developer My.Com has announced its intentions to bring the game to the PlayStation 4 in early 2018, while also introducing PlayStation owners to the Global Ops game modes, as well as releasing news of a new update and its release on Steam.

Armored Warfare

Armored Warfare is rolling out updates to its titular game mode, Global Ops. This hybrid game mode allows for players to fight against each other, but also fight against neutral A.I controlled enemy targets. These neutral targets will not be pushovers, as they will fight aggressively to hinder the progress of the opposing teams.

Players will be able to access a variety of air support, both for defensive and offensive capabilities as well.  Players will need to maximize their tanks’ capabilities and know the layout of the map to achieve victory. Players will secure special zones, find cover, and resist AI controlled forces in order to attain victory.

Coupled with this exciting news is the game’s official launch on Steam. After many months of early access and beta testing the game has been finalized and officially deployed tot he steam service on November 17th, 2017. For those wishing to wait until the PS4 launch of Armored Warfare, players that sing up will gain access to a special edition of the LAV-150 armored vehicle.

Armored Warfare is now available for download on Steam.
