Rock and Roll go great with apocalyptic destruction and vampire-like humans. Bandai Namco recently released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming action JRPG, Code Vein. The trailer, as shown above, showcases new gameplay footage, showing the unique abilities the character possess as they slay various monsters across a dystopic world. Additionally, the trailer also showcases new music and animation.

The rock and roll track that plays in the trailer is called “Underworld” from Japanese Rock band, Vamp. Towards the final half of the trailer is a special surprise for anime fans, and fans of Fate Stay/Night series, and that is original animation by Ufotable. Ufotable is a Japanese-based animation studio, world-renowned for their extremely sharp designs, and the unique ability to blend traditional hand-drawn animations, as well as computer effects.  They lend their talents to giving the characters life and substance.

Code Vein

Code Vein is a brand-new JRPG from two of the top members of monster-hunting action RPG’s, God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2. In the world of Code Vein, the world has become a wrecked wasteland, roaming with mysterious mutant beats.

No one knows what caused this disaster, for the few humans that survive, they have become afflicted with a fate worse than death. They have become The Revenant, warriors with no memory of themselves, but lustfully seek blood to consume. Consuming blood unlocks special abilities, called gifts, that allow them to wield an absolutely unparalleled array of devasting power. In their quest to redeem their humanity, they will travel across the dystopic landscape, encountering the deep, dark mysteries buried beneath.

Code Vein is slated for release in2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
