This week, a PlayStation Classic returned for a new generation of PlayStation gamers. Comet Crash 2: The Kronkoid Wars released earlier this week, exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The first game, Comet Crash, was released in 2009, by Pelfast Inc. It was met with critical and commercial acclaim, especially during a time in which the tower-defense genre saw a massive spike in popularity, with games like Savage Moon and Field Runners becoming big names in the gaming industry. The game was met with refinements and enhancements, such as the Bionic Dragon expansion. The sequel is bringing forth a variety of updates and refinements, including new weapons, boss-fights, and enemies.
Comet Crash2: The Kronkoid Wars is a distinctive video game, as it is a Sci-Fi, Real-Time, Strategy Game with tower-defense elements, tasking you to play both defensively and offensively across various alien worlds. Players start as an elite force, capable of deploying menacing weapons across an entire battlefield in an effort to lure, defend, and offensively destroy a vicious alien enemy, known as the Kronkoids.
Using these weapons, players can plant various forms of turrets to block the path of incoming enemies, while deploying other special weapons. Players themselves pilot a special starship that is responsible for directly deploying turrets and other weapons. In the sequel, players will have more weapons, bigger battlefields, and boss fights to contend with.
Comet Crash 2: The Kronkoid Wars is available now exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
