Welcome back, Guardians!! This day is a very special occasion for Bungie, as well as their community. Today marks the second year of the Moments of Triumph inside Destiny, but also marks the 10th anniversary of Bungie Day which was founded by the community. For Bungie today also marks this as their 25th anniversary of producing some really great games over the years.
Bungie has released the year two Moments of Triumph today, which challenges all guardians to become legend. This year they have modified the challenges to be a little bit more user-friendly to check and redeem in-game. Just like they did back in SRL, Bungie has released a Year Two Moments of Triumph book which actively tracks your progress and redeems for progress to attain higher ranks.
There is a total of eight tasks/nodes that are required to be completed to achieve the maximum rank 5. Each task has its own requirements that need to be accomplished to unlock that specific node. Some tasks are simple, that basically require your guardian to follow the storyline and complete quests. Others, require some skill and teamwork to complete but don’t worry all guardians have until September 20th to complete the challenges. Below is a detail list of what is required from you Guardians!!
– A Blade Reborn – Complete any of the Exotic sword quests from Lord Shaxx -Eris Morn’s Revenge- Collect all 50 Calcified Fragments -The Sword Logic- Defeat Oryx in the King’s Fall Raid on Hard difficulty -Return to the Reef – Complete the April quests “At the Gates” and “Return to the Prison” -The Play’s the Thing- Complete the Taken King main questline, culminating in “Regicide” -Challenge of the Elders- Complete an Elder’s Sigil scorecard in the Prison of the Elders -This is Amazing- Complete the Crucible questline culminating in “The Mountaintop” -The Third Element- Equip a fully leveled Year Two subclass on any character
Completing these challenges will reward you will some shaders and emblems, which can’t be obtained any other way. Rank 2 Rewards- Caelestis Shader Rank 3 Rewards – Shield of the Traveler Emblem Rank 4 Rewards – Dawncaller Shader Rank 5 Rewards- Hear the Call Emblem
