Its been quite a successful journey for the team at Defiant Development and the Hand Of Fate 2 team. Since the announcement of the game, the team at the studio have been working extremely hard, crafting an engaging, gripping experience that will appeal to fans both old and new.
Hand Of Fate 2 has made appearances at PAX SOUTH, PAX EAST, and PAX WEST, from 2016 to 2017. The team also successfully kickstarted a board game of the same name, crushing its goals and paving a brand-new experience for fans of board games. Now, after a tremendous amount of development, Defiant Development is pleased to announce that Hand Of Fate 2 will be arriving November 7th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Hand Of Fate 2 is the sequel to Hand Of Fate, the 2015 action RPG that combined elements of action gameplay and card-based elements. The original game tasked you with facing down The Dealer, a mysterious mystic that challenges its players with a battle to the death.
The Dealer tasks players of choosing their deck and setting off on deadly adventures to take down specific targets. These targets are merciless warriors, cursed to infect the lands of the innocent. During the game, players choose their card paths, make choices, and go through random encounters to make it to the end. During battles, the cards materialize into actual battlefields, requiring players to use whits and skill to achieve victory.
Hand Of Fate 2 begins sometime after the first game. The Dealer is back and he has not forgotten the pain that you, the player, dealt upon him. He is out for revenge and is willing to bring insurmountable amounts of pain upon you. Hand Of Fate 2 features a bevy of new features and enhancements from the preceding game, including more refined combat, an AI companion, and more games of chance to give you more of an advantage in your quest. Of course, The Dealer will have you face even more dangerous enemies.
