2022 was another stellar year for Stack Up as we continued serving Veterans and Active Military through gaming. Our community has grown much over the last year, and we're hoping it will continue growing as changes come and go. For our January Redshirt Roundtable, we decided to ask about some of your favorite tabletop games:
What is a board/card game you enjoyed from your childhood?
What is a roleplaying or card, or tabletop game you've played recently? What can you tell us about it?
What is a roleplaying or card, or tabletop game you think everyone should try at least once?
Is there a TTRPG, card, or other tabletop game you've always wanted? Any upcoming games you look forward to? What game?
Are you looking for other people to play tabletop or roleplaying games with online? Tell us about the game and how to contact you to get involved.
Once again, thank you to everyone who continues to answer our questions and participate in our monthly Redshirt Roundtable. We love reading your answers.

Rummikub! Used to play it in the summer evenings with my Grandmother RIP. The little faces on the wild card tiles still make me laugh.

I've been hanging around a lot of TTRPG(DnD, PF2e, etc.) groups lately and have been playing DnD. There's been some turmoil in the news lately in regards to DnD itself, but TTRPGs will come out stronger on the other end, I'm sure!
What is a roleplaying or card, or tabletop game you think everyone should try at least once?
I think everyone should try some form of pen and paper RPG at some point in their life. It can be a lot of fun!

I'm collecting several books right now for alternate TTRPG gaming systems and am anxious to try some of them out. Nothing new, necessarily, just new to me. I'm really late to the TTRPG table and I have a lot of catching up to do.

I am in a few Discords that play TTRPGs, including Stack Up's own Discord where there are occasionally campaigns going.

Marvel Dice Throne has quickly become one of my favorites. Roll the dice kinda like Yahtzee to get certain symbols, then use that to pick certain moves and battle other players. Also good is DC Deck-Building game.

Any Deck-Building game type. They're so easy to learn, and gameplay gets fast once ya get the hang of them.

I've always wanted the Fallout Board Game. I Kickstartered the upcoming Injustice DC Deck-Building game, and I look forward to getting all my cards when it comes in.

I actually made a Legends of Tomorrow DC Deck-Building game for Tabletop Simulator. I'm working on setting it up for people to download.
