The Stacks love to get out and game and the folks of the San Francisco Stack have been making some waves with their monthly game night at the Rohnert Park Veteran Center. Looking to share some of the excitement the San Fran Stack took the time to write up some highlights from the last LAN event meet-up.

The San Francisco Stack and The Rohnert Park Veteran Center teamed up for their monthly LAN Zone event. It was another packed house and we had to consolidate onto one Xbox to play JackBox so that everyone could get involved as we ran out of Xboxes for everyone to play on. I cannot understate the importance of these events as we bring veterans together under one roof to talk, play games and connect with each other. New friendships have forged and together we will do great work for other veterans as we reach more of them each month.
It was another enjoyable night of hanging out with fellow Vets. Great to see new faces in the group too! I think it is important as an organization (Vet Center and Stack-Up alike) to show that we are here for the community of Vets and family- a place where folks can come hang out, relax, and of course- game!
The gaming is just the platform, the socializing is the real key here in my opinion. We have had two successful LZ events and I am excited to see where this goes. We are already thinking about how to expand these events and reaching farther as far as getting the word out. The future looks bright! Next month’s event is already in the calendar- I predict breaking our record with the next one Anthony, if not next soda is on me!
What an amazing job out there in San Francisco! Way to Stack Up! Sounds like another amazingly successful event gaming with the Vets!
