Today we’re checking in on a supply crate shipment sent all the way to Jordan for Air Force SSgt. Kevin. Having just started his deployment with an F-15 Maintenance unit, Kevin reached out to us for some gaming upgrades.
Keep reading to read his request in his own words:
Hello,
My name is Kevin. I’m currently deployed in Jordan (undisclosed location for OPSEC). We just started our deployment and would love any support.
We are an F-15 Maintenance unit of about 200 deployed here, with 51 specialists in my specialist flight.
It would be awesome if we could get a couple of games for our ps4 or some switch games/controllers to play together with. A lot of us bought switches on my shop and a lot of others in the flight. Thanks for any help. It is greatly appreciated!
Knowing that the members of the unit brought their own game systems on deployment shows the important role gaming plays for those serving. Progressing through levels is a proven way to destress and pass the time. When we received his request we could tell we had a unit of gamers who needed some new games to beat quick!
We also want to take a moment to thank Call To Arms streamer SlapStickLogic, for stacking up during his stream to help raise funds for this Supply Crate! It is because of amazing streamers like him and his community that we are able to do amazing things like Supply Crates!
Sir or ma’am,
Thank you so much for the great games and consoles sent, and for thinking of us all the way out here. One of the best care packages ever.
The guys loved them. Couldn’t thank Stack Up enough. Again, thanks for the support. It is greatly appreciated.
-SSgt Kevin
As always, we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring some gaming love and happiness into the lives of our service members. It’s our pleasure and our mission to show units like Kevin’s support and the pictures they sent and the smiles on their face is all the thanks we need.
If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
