We are checking in with another of our Hundred Heroes Supply Crate recipients.
Volunteers help to pack Supply Crates during Hundred Heroes Day.
This one comes to us from Brant, who was in the Army. Brant’s request was simple enough, he mentioned how he used gaming to get “through the dark times” of his PTSD. This made him an easy selection for Hundred Heroes.
However, Brant’s response is simply amazing. We wanted to take a moment to share it with all of you
Thank You!!! To open my door Saturday morning to let out my dogs and there was a big red crate on my porch and I thought What is this?. It was a big surprise what I found inside, an Xbox One, Eight awesome games for the Xbox, two great board games, some amazing game swag and the military approved Stack Up tan Supply Crate undershirt.
I was…. I can’t describe the feeling. I use games as a coping mechanism to deal with symptoms of PTSD. I am very much an introvert these last few years. Gaming is my socialization means. I don’t watch TV or read the news. I do watch Twitch as my entertainment source. This is where I found out about Stack Up.
Thank you, Brant, for reaching out and for your service! We are glad to hear that the games brightened your holidays! We, like Brant, would also like to thank all the amazing streamers and supporters like NoobCast4Life, for helping to make it possible for us to send Supply Crates on to amazing Veterans.
If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear, as well as cash donations. Please help us help these vets out here:
