Happy Friday! Time for a Supply Crate update. Today we're sharing the story of Jason, an Air Force and National Guard Veteran who served quite a bit of time. Here's what he shared in his request below.
I served 16 years between the Air Force and Army National Guard. I've had a total of 3 deployments. I was stationed in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. There are many different things that have happened over there that affect me on a daily basis. Roughly 5 years ago. I was at MOSQ in Ravenna, Ohio. Day 2 into the class, things changed that I live with on a daily basis. We were in a 15 passenger van that was tboned by a semi. I was in the hospital for a few days. I deal with neck and back issues on a daily basis. Little did I know, that was pretty much the end of my career in the military. Due to the injuries sustained, I felt I couldn't continue on and be the best I could be.
One of the great things about gaming is that it's a great activity when one has physical issues, especially as more and more adaptive controllers and such are being designed. It's not only great for mental but also when dealing with physical health.
Thank you for everything. We are beyond excited!
We're constantly excited to be doing what we do. Thanks, Jason, for reaching out.
Thanks also to GGgrindz and community who sponsored this Supply Crate. Find him on Twitch!
