Supply Crate – Javelin

Javelin requested a Supply Crate because gaming has really helped him deal with his life struggles:

My name is Javelin, I am a 30 year old father of 5 boys. I joined the marines right out of high school to leave a troubled home. I found an enormous amount of pride in my military service and soon was a platoon leader helping guide my fellow marines. After the loss of one of my best friends I decided I needed to leave the service or I might try to follow in his footsteps. Since I left the military I have built a beautiful family but am still very much missing the brotherhood the marines provided me. When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 when she was 33 and I was 28 I really turned to gaming as an outlet to help me deal with all of the stressors I was facing. Gaming has given me a way to make fiends and play with people I probably would have never met. Unfortunately my PlayStation 4 is really struggling to keep going I've had it for years, its caused a lot f frustration trying to find cross platform games with my friends but I am still so thankful to have it. If it wasn't for my kids and my PlayStation I don't know how I could have dealt with my wifes diagnosis. No one expects to be young and hit by something like that and twitch/gaming/tiktok gave me community and I would love to be able to build on that more.

Sounds like Javelin needs some updated hardware! Those old consoles will really keep going until they're done and it's no fun having to wait to replace them, so we got Javelin a Supply Crate so he could get a brand-new console.

Hello Ian just wanted to send an email to follow up! We received the care package and I couldn’t be more grateful, since getting the system set up I was able to transfer my progress from old games and start playing a couple new ones with friends! I’m still in shocked disbelief that I was picked to be part of this experience. Here are some pictures of me opening the box and all that.
