Supply Crate – Jimmy

Jimmy is a Veteran whose service left him with some physical and mental health trauma. Video games have been one thing that helps him deal.

Hi my name is Jimmy Gillespie I'm 100% disabled vet and I did two tours in Iraq a 12-month and a 15 month. During my deployments form numerous duties that exposed me to combat and explosions and so now I suffer from severe PTSD and traumatic brain injury. Over the past 15 years I've become recluse because groups people set off my anxiety. I have a lot of trouble being social so I hide in my house and play games. It seems crazy saying it but video games have been my only new experiences since I got back and my greatest hobby. I deal with a great deal of depression and for some reason games help. If I get picked it will be me my son and my 2 special needs brother who play everything and I can promise it will all be greatly appreciated

Thanks for sending in a Supply Crate request, Jimmy! Vets like Jimmy are exactly the ones we are trying to help with with a new console. Being able to enjoy a game when feeling anxious is a luxury people often don't think about or take for granted.

Got my package ands its awesome. Ill take more pics tomorrow

We hope you get plenty of fun out of it, Jimmy.
