I am the spouse of one of the dedicated deployers. Many of the brave men and women in this deployment group embarked on their missions in 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic. Now, three years later, they find themselves having to leave their families once again, including my husband. We have three young daughters, and like many of the deployers with children, it's heart-wrenching to witness our kids growing up from a distance. This deployment poses significant challenges for our group, especially given the current global circumstances and the fact that we are stationed in Africa, where radical forces are attempting to overthrow the government. In such a turbulent environment, our group needs all the support and well-wishes they can get. It's essential for them to have some peace of mind and the chance to find moments of laughter and play amidst the challenges they face. Thank you so much for your consideration.
Deployments are tough on our Active Military members. They work long days, sometimes in places with potential dangers, and have to be on alert 24/7. Playing games after a long day of work is a great way to chill out.
