Army Veteran Miguel requested a Supply Crate to help him reintegrate into civilian life through gaming with other people.
I am a combat veteran deployed with the 10st airborne diving and sustained injury during combat and havnt been able reintegrate back to civilian life and feel I can perhaps start talking and gaming with people virtually and maybe help me out in the regular world. Tough for me to speak and co-exist with others
Military service conditions people into a different way of working, speaking, and generally engaging with the world. While the Military conditions people for service, it does very little to recondition them for life after service. As a result, many Veterans feel lost afterwards and have a difficult time adjusting and engaging with civilian life in general.
We hope that by sending Miguel a game console he can make some friends and regain some confidence in how he engages with civilian life.
