Brian with Military Mobility reached out to us for a Supply Crate so that they could get a console to use at their resiliency retreat and other activities for bonding and relaxation.
Military Mobility is a 501c3 non-profit that specializing in suicide prevention and health and wellness for veterans in need. I met your wonderful reps at the Twitch Con booth in Las Vegas and learned of your program. We provide (free of charge) 5 day experiential resiliency retreats for veterans. The veterans come from all over the country and create a tight knit bond while with us; often staying in touch with each other through social media groups, zoom/ phone calls, and text. We would like to have a gaming console available at our courses and events in order to provide respite for veterans that need a place/activity to be involved in where they can relax and unwind. This also would provide a great activity when we experience weather issues (quite common in Wyoming!) Veterans could gather around the console in a shared activity to increase their bonds, then stay in touch when they go to their respective homes by staying connected through the various gaming networks available. This would provide a common and casual activity for them to connect through and communicate any issues they are having, instead of a direct "call for help" which can be tough for veterans to do. Thank you for your consideration. Best, CWO3 SEAL (Ret.) Brian Ribera, President, Military Mobility
It sounds like Military Mobility is up to some pretty cool stuff with its resiliency programs. It sounds like they do activities that are much more of the "touch grass" kind, which we appreciate. Check out their website at Militarymobility.com
We would like to sincerely thank the donors who have contributed so generously that we may provide veterans respite and a sense of community through STACK UP and its mission!
Thanks, Brian for reaching out, and thanks to Military Mobility for what they do. The more of us nonprofits dedicated to helping build and support the mental health of our Veterans out there, the better.
ItsHysterica sponsored the Military Mobility Supply Crate. ItsHysterica plays a variety of games but enjoys a good bit of gaming in Escape from Tarkov and Warzone. Check her out on Twitch.
