Supply Crate – Steven

Steven requested a Supply Crate to get an Xbox along with some games he'd rather play than the games the Nintendo Switch they have at home offer:

I'm not much of a writer but I'll take a shot here. I'm a disabled vet at 80% for my back and PTSD as well as still working 2 jobs currently so that I can adopt my two nieces and keep them out of a dangerous situation. My son has a Nintendo Switch (given by Mother in-law) and so we do have a gaming system in the house but it has all kid games and doesn't help me decompress. I need a gaming system to help me decompress since I can't really be active anymore with how bad my back is as well as not having the time or money to go out and interact with the world how I would like to be. I've used video games to help with my PTSD in the past but ever since my last XBOX died I haven't really been able to find another way to cope and becoming overwhelmed and stressed with everyday life. I usually don't spend money on myself, especially with how much video games/consoles cost, but really need something to help calm myself down as well as interact with fellow gamers out there.

Hey, we totally get it. Sometime a console doesn't have the offerings you'd rather play. Current consoles are ridiculously expensive especially for Veterans who may have a fixed income. Sounds like Steven can use a brand new Xbox Series X so he can get back into some games like Call of Duty and more. Thankfully, we were able to get him one!
