As Stack-Up has been standing up as an organization these last few months, we’ve been simultaneously sending gaming gear overseas to Afghanistan for our January drops and have started getting pictures back from them! Good stuff!
Let’s detail supple crate SURPRISE PARTY I, going to an Army Infantry platoon based out of Afghanistan:
I am William from Phoenix, Arizona! Currently on my first deployment with my brothers of 2-14 Infantry. I am an aspiring film maker so I am taking our deployment and capturing it through the lenses of the cameras I brought to create something that everyone’s family and friends can experience to get an idea of what it is we are actually doing over here.
William did a great job sending us pictures of his platoon prior to the drop, and did a super job getting pictures after the crate landed on them! William was extremely appreciative for all the gear we sent their way:
First off I would like to say that I really appreciate the everything you all sent to us! There is honestly nothing better than coming back from a long mission and being able to unwind and set aside any differences anybody had that day. Its incredible what you all do for us deployed troops and it shows that we are supported by people who have very common interest such as the gaming community. Your donations brought a smile to everyone’s face when we opened the box and if there was a way we could thank you individually we would in a heart beat. Thank you once again!
Are you a veteran deployed forward to a combat zone? On a humanitarian mission? Recovering in a military hospital? Or a troop down on their luck looking for some help with some gaming love? That’s what we’re here for. Reach out to us here at our supply crate request page and we’ll see what we can do to help!
