We once again check in with The Stacks. This time the Sonoma County Stack has another great event with the folks at the Rohnert Park Veteran Center. Read below to check out the fantastic time they had!
This month we were sent four GAEMS Vanguards and four Xbox Ones to utilize at our LAN Zone events. The Sonoma County Stack and the Rohnert Park Veteran Center were able to get each setup with relative ease and get all the Xbox Live accounts activated in order to play our game of the month…Rocket League.
Rocket League had recently released a GIGANTIC update to their game adding a new game mode and many other items yet to be discovered. Only one member of the Sonoma County Stack knew how to play the game mode. Ryan Devlin taught everyone how to play the game. It took some time but once we got the hang of it we figured out that the three members who knew how to play the game were on the same team. We changed up the teams and the gameplay got very competitive. (However, they need to change those overtime rules…WE WERE CHEATED RYAN!)

Overall, it was a successful event showcasing the new gaming setup featuring GAEMS fantastic products with Xbox Ones. It was a difficult night in particular as Sonoma County Stack Lead Anthony had to put down his oldest dog after a year long fight with cancer that afternoon prior to the event. The support from his fellow Stack members was incredible and helped him through a tough time.
What an amazing job out there in Sonoma County! Stand by as we are sure to hear some more amazing news from The Sonoma County Stack and their ongoing efforts in the Bay area!
