warhammer the end of times vermintide review

Warhammer

Warhammer: The End of Times “Vermintide” is based in the city of Ubersreik, to where you can play five different types of hero’s. You can play as a Bright Wizard, Empire Solider, Waywatcher, Dwarf Ranger and a Witch Hunter: each character has their own special abilities and unique fighting styles. You can play co-op with your friends or you can play by yourself and bots will be assigned to you to fill out your team.

Vermintide was developed and published by Fatshark Games; it’s a co-op game with lots of action, and it takes place in the Warhammer Universe, basically in the End Times part of the story line. The game was originally made for PC and released on that platform in October of 2015; the game was released on PS4 and Xbox in September of 2016.

Warhammer

The gameplay reminds me of the game Left 4 Dead; you basically make your way from one mission to another staying alive as you destroy enormous amounts of enemies. Each character plays about the same with each one having its own unique types of weapons and melees.

This game can be played a few different ways. You can play as a 4-person co-op team or as a single player with bots. There are five levels of difficulty. You can make your hosting of lobby’s public or private; you can invite your friends if you want to or wait for your team to be filled.

The graphics are good, not great, and the sound fits all the requirements to bring it to life. The camera controls take some getting used to. The game starts out slow but picks up with lots of action. Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide is, in my opinion, a game worth getting for the price of $39.99, it’s a great platform to play with friends, It reminds me of those fun times from Left 4 Dead on the Xbox 360.
