Supply Crate – Heroes Call 1

We’re checking in on a Supply Crate delivery requested by David, currently in the Air Force. He was looking to improve the morale of his unit in their small amount downtime during their 24/7 shifts. Keep reading to take a look at SSgt Ivey’s request!

We are a shop of approximately 80 guys who work at a 24/7 unit. Our job is to ensure the B52s are reaching their targets and the KC135s are refueling the fight from the air. We work a lot but have downtime when the planes are up. Anything you could provide will completely help our units morale!

Some people struggle making it through 8-hours of work, this unit makes it through 24. Stack Up was more than happy to send these 80 deployed service members something to fill their down their downtime and recharge their spirits. Check out how they got over the Xbox update hump and plan to put the games to use!

We received the package and are super thankful to you guys! Sorry I didn’t let you guys know right away. I took a few pictures when we first opened the package but was waiting to take some more when we got another chance. It actually took us about a week to get the initial update and game updates finished so we could use the system because we couldn’t connect the Xbox to our military internet. So we ended up using one of our guy’s cell phone data as a hotspot. It was crazy lol. Not complaining though and all totally worth it!

I’ve attached the pics from when we opened the box. Sorry, we didn’t put the shirts on for the pic, we were still at the postal pick up in full uniform. Just so you know not everyone was there at the time since we have a 24-hour shop and most of the guys were either on the flight line or sleeping. But I did get some guys who were able to break away. They were all totally stoked too! I plan on hopefully doing a gaming night/day soon. I will definitely send more pictures when we do this. I’ll ask the guys to wear their shirts too. Thanks again, you guys rule!

Thank you, David, for your service in the Air Force and to the guys in your unit. We hope the moments you have away from refueling and maintaining aircraft are filled with achievements.

We also want to say a special thanks to ADrive for answering the Call To Arms with a Charity Stream that helped to make this Supply Crate possible.

If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations.
